End of Tenancy Cleaning in Leigh

An end of tenancy clean is a full top to bottom clean of a property at the end of a tenancy, built around what letting agents and landlords actually check at the final inspection. It covers appliances inside and out, kitchen cupboards, bathrooms, skirting boards and window sills, and is intended to give you the best possible chance of getting your deposit back in full.

End of tenancy cleaning in Leigh, Greater Manchester

Cleanliness is consistently one of the most common reasons for deposit deductions at the end of a tenancy. Inspections are done against the inventory taken when you moved in, which means the standard is not how clean the place looks to you, it is how clean it was recorded as being on day one.

We clean to that standard. Ovens, extractor filters, inside cupboards, behind appliances, limescale on shower screens and taps: the things that get photographed and itemised on a check-out report.

If you are a tenant, it is worth knowing your deposit should be held in a government-approved tenancy deposit protection scheme, and you can dispute unfair deductions through that scheme's free adjudication service. There is plain-English guidance on how deposit protection works at GOV.UK.

End of Tenancy FAQs

Will an end of tenancy clean get my deposit back?

It gives you the best chance. Cleanliness is one of the most common reasons for deposit deductions, and we clean to the standard a check-out inspection is judged against rather than to a casual once-over. We cannot control what else the inventory records, but we can make sure cleaning is not the reason you lose money.

Should I book before or after the removal van?

After, always. Clean an occupied property and you are cleaning around furniture and boxes, which means the inspector later finds dust exactly where the sofa used to be. Once the property is empty we can reach everything, and it stays clean until the keys go back.

Do you clean inside the oven and the fridge?

Yes, both are included as standard, and they are two of the most commonly itemised things on a check-out report. The oven is cleaned inside and out including the racks and door glass, and the fridge and freezer are emptied, defrosted and wiped through.

How much does an end of tenancy clean cost?

It depends on the size and condition of the property, so we quote each one individually rather than from a fixed list. We agree the time needed and the price with you in advance. Weigh it against what a letting agent would deduct from your deposit for cleaning, which is often considerably more.
